Book Signing at FoxTale Book Shoppe & Quilt Winner Announcement!
This past weekend, I visited FoxTale Book Shoppe for a book signing. I told my best friend, Misty, on the drive down to Woodstock, Georgia, that I imagined these ladies were like a literary Ya-Ya Sisterhood or The Secret Life of Bees.
I was not disappointed. The three owners of the shoppe, Karen, Ellen, and Jackie, are full of as much character as the heroines gracing their bookshelves. With their layered jewelry, filmy Gypsy dresses, and feathered hair, I could’ve just watched “The Foxes” all day, but they are also so warm and inviting that when my best friend and I entered the shoppe after four hours on the road, we felt immediately refreshed and at home.
If you are ever in the Atlanta area, or feel like taking a road trip to a one-of-a-kind book shoppe, please stop by FoxTale. I’m telling you, it will be well worth your trip! If you don’t believe me already, these pictures will seal the deal!

And, finally, I am honored to announce that the winner of the quilt (drum roll, please…) is Molly Nickins! Congratulations, Molly!
Thank you so much for supporting The Outcast through your messages, photos (like those shared by FoxTale and Ana Raquel), reviews, and — most of all — hugs to this somewhat tired author mama. It means so much!
