Giveaway with Church Street Designs!

This month, I am thrilled to introduce you to Sarah Detweiler, founder of Church Street Designs! I met Sarah when I was fifteen, and our family visited her father’s church. I will never forget watching Sarah play the piano during worship: she had these deep brown eyes full of intelligence and life. She was–and is–the kind of person who draws other people to her, and I wanted to know her better.

Well, over the years, those opportunities came: 4th of July gatherings, a missions trip to Colombia, church picnics, volleyball, birthday parties, Christmases. You see, seven years after I entered that church, I married Sarah’s first cousin, Randy, who was in attendance that day (though, he was so quiet, I didn’t notice him until later).

I have loved watching Sarah’s creativity merge with her entrepreneurial mindset, launching her own successful business, Church Street Designs. I’ll let Sarah tell you more about her vision:

At Church Street Designs, we believe that there is still a place for handcrafted products that are made with care by men and women who take pride in their work and want to create something that will last beyond themselves.

In 2013, we started the business at our kitchen table and released our first handmade wooden signs. Since then our business has continued to grow and we are proud to partner with a talented team of artisans.

As the popularity of Church Street Designs has grown, we have been excited to branch out beyond signs and offer our customers other high quality, handmade decor items. We can’t wait to see what inspires us next!
