I LOVED this. I feel like I know you soooo much better now by being able to see and hear you. Oh, I miss those days of a squirmy baby in my arms.
I can't wait to read your book. I love your writing.
I am just shy of 30 years older than you, and I don't think that in 30 years you'll know anything more wise than what you've just shared with us.
Happy birthday.

Oh, Christine, you are so kind. It is easy to understand my priorities, but it isn't always easy to keep those priorities in line. I hope that by putting this out there, my friends such as yourself will help keep me accountable. 🙂

I'm so glad everything fell into place for you — that's so wonderful — and I agree with you 100% about what's important in life (I know, you're surprised, right?). I loved seeing and hearing your voice and seeing that little baby girl in action! What fun! Best days ever!

Adelaide's such a hoot, I could just hold her and everyone would be entertained. (Well–mostly my mother!) 🙂

So wonderful to see you and hear your voice—I love when we get the chance to see someone like that after communicating mainly through blogs and Twitter! Happy birthday to you, by the way! Thanks for the wonderful reminder that there are so many different sources of fulfillment in our lives, and that the dreams we chase aren't always the only ones that can bring us happiness. There are also the dreams we're already living, if we take a moment to really notice them.

Yes, I let my southern accent out of the bag in this one, Natalia! I do believe that it has only gotten worse since I moved to these them hills. 😉 Thank you for the birthday wishes; I had a lovely one, and I am so glad this could remind you about the dreams that we are already living. So often when I read your comments, it brings so much clarity to what I have already thought and/or written. Hugs to you!

I feel like I know you so much better now that I heard your voice. Isn't it funny how that is? I loved what you learned. It's very heartfelt!

I felt the same way when Julia Martin posted a video. It is strange how our brain works like that. 🙂
