Try My New Novel For Free + Book Club Kit!

Hello, dear ones,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed a few days filled with gratitude and all things cranberry.

Speaking of cranberry, I have some delicious cranberry recipes to share with you, courtesy of my former neighbor, Jessica Rogers, creator of The Yellow Farmhouse on the Hill! These recipes—buttermilk cranberry bars, cranberry orange scones, cranberry bog punch—can be found in my new Book Club Kit for How the Light Gets In, releasing this March.

The Book Club Kit also includes some snapshots from our time in Wisconsin, a suggested music playlist, and a note from me, sharing my heart behind my most personal novel to date.

But that’s not all! (I feel like a sales[wo]man saying that, but I am really excited about this next part, so what can I do?!) My publisher has also created an extended sampler from How the Light Gets In. It’s not Ruth’s entire story, but it’s a whole lot more than the standard first chapter, and I think the fiction department did a wonderful job showcasing some poignant scenes while also ending on a cliffhanger that made me want to read the whole story all over again, and I am the one who created it!

Thank you so much for your support and love over the past five years. I am sure grateful for my readers! There would be no story without you!

Love,
