Today, over six years since I took a snowy walk with my firstborn daughter, which sparked the idea for How the Light Gets In, I get the chance to ask you to join my street team.
How the Light Gets In is my fifth published novel, but I’ve never had a street team of my own. Therefore, it’s an incredible honor to ask you readers to join my team. The same readers who have been so loyal to my writing and faith journey that you’ve visited this blog repeatedly over the past nine years: witnessing our newlywed days, young parenthood, our move to Wisconsin, our move back, and everything in between.

My vision for Ruth’s story is that it wouldn’t just be a story, but that it will do what it did for me—help bring healing to your relationships that have foundered due to transition. And who among us is exempt from transition?
Health trials, job changes, moves, ministry obligations, you name it. Life has a way of rocking our foundation, but that is when we find out who we really are, and upon Whom our life is founded.
